Let me tell you something.  Israel is a helluva lot better off than we are (economically) right now.  I went to the grocery store a few days ago and picked up  about 7 items and it cost me over $150.00!  I nearly passed out and I only bought FOOD, no junk, no laundry stuff, nothing but food.  It's incredibly expensive if you ain't shopping at walmart and supporting the chinese assholes.  No wonder biden is kissing their asses in public.  Trump is making friends not kissing asses.  biden is flat-out kissing their ass, as well as iran, saudi arabia and several other middle eastern countries who certainly do not need our money.   They stole all the weapons dumbass biden left behind when he yanked our troops out of Afghanistan with absolutely no back up plan in mind at all.  He is a disgrace to the entire world.  He can't talk so he just signs things.  ASSHOLE.

Something else that has gotten more expensive is ANY KIND OF INSURANCE.  My AETNA (which is good coverage)  has gone up a total of $56 in the past 3 years (that's monthly).  I live on social security I cannot afford for prices to KEEP going up.  I am curious how much my bill is going to be from my little weekend trip to the ER that'll probably shock my socks off.  I don't think AETNA pays for ER visits.  YIKES!

Since I've been in the process of moving I have misplaced the piece of paper with my log in information for his ordering site and now I cannot place an order and there is NO WHERE on his site to tell them that.

What a rip off.  When these places do not give you the option to communicate with them, it's doom for me.  I have misplaced a lot of stuff just recently making a move I really didn't wamt but my kids insisted.  Pretty sure that's why I passed out the other day (stress) related) and ended up at the ER for about 4 hours.  I'm fine now but the weather has been so bad here I cannot get out and about to get stuff I need.

Why do places like that (Mercola's) offer all kinds of shit to buy and then they cannot perfect their ordering sites to the point where you can communicate with them?  There is no FAQ page or anything.  I'll just order from Vitaost from now on, they don't subscribe to all that nonsense.

Sorry, not ordering from Vitacost either, they have raised their prices (before biden leaves!!) and I can no longer make excuses for spending that money.

Still moving.  My gawd it seems this will never end!  That's what happens when you share a life in a home for 25 years, lose your husband and then your kids move you out of the house because it's for THEIR best interests - they help you move for 1 weekend and then they take off and I'M stuck doing the rest all by myself.  I just don't have the energy since I hurt my back, and no one is offering to help.  Luckily, everyone is back at work!  I' glad of that, but it doesn't help me one bit.  I am slowly moving a bit at a time, but I do not have the strength to move 2 more beds, another couch, tons of books and 2 closets full of clothes.  Still a bunch of boxes setting around, too, and I have no clue what's in them because no one marked them.  Lovely.  Then they call and yell at me for not getting more done!  I've about had it with kids, I can tell you.  It really shows you what they are all about when this sort of thing takes place.

Today I am going to the grocery store for the 1st time in 3 years (not having my stuff delivered) with my friend Beth and my grandson who is coming to stay with me to help a little with some of this stuff.  He's kinda puny right now but he will be some help anyway and at least I'm not alone for a change, that also gets tiring.

I was just listening to an ad on tv for Zicam cold remedy stuff.  The ad says "shorten your cold with Zicam".. 

Well, seeing as how you have no idea how long that cold would have lasted with or without the Zicam, I'd say that's a pretty safe bet, wouldn't you!!

Whether it's something from a doctor or something from the "natural health world" it's all a scam.  I went out into my vitamin bin today and tossed out a whole bunch of bottles of vitamins, kept the Vitamin D3, K2, Fermented Fruits, Fermented Veggies, and now that cupboard has a lot more room.  I guess time will tell when I go to my next Dr. apptment in April of 2025 and have my bloodwork done.  If I'm low on something, it's usually something like sodium (I drink a LOT of water and tend to pee a lot) so I am often low on sodium.  I don't order that stuff on tv (constant commercials) called Balance of Nature because I'm not sure it's organically sourced, and I'm also not sure it's fermented, which makes all the difference in the world.

Right after the stroke in 2019 my heart doctor told me to be sure to add sodium to my diet in many forms.  I had been using Himalayan Pink Salt (which I have since discovered does not contain the all important sodium) although I do like the fact that it supplies numerous other benefits that you won't get with regular, awful "table salt".  So, until April's check-up, I'll keep doing what I've been doing minus a few useless vitamins.  I think the minerals are probably more important (and lacking in today's foods) anyway. 

You should go online and compare the differences between what vitamins do for the human body and what minerals do for the human body.   It's an interesting
venture.

I love the way a LOT of the tv commercials are once again using the older versions of the classic Christmas Carols, don't you?  I have been feeling pretty happy for about a month already (since the election, of course) and I think the whole country except the assholes from California, of course.  That State, I'm ashamed to say, has literally gone to the dogs.


I'm still in the process of moving but it's getting a bit easier all the time now.  Down to the little stuff now.
 

I love stew but I'm also kinda boring about it.  I like the stew meat pre-fried in my frying pan on my own stove made with either coconut oil or olive oil, then I like to add everything at once to the slow cooker.  Raw onion, raw potato chunks, raw thinly sliced strips of carrot so they get done faster (these are my favorite part!) fairly good sized hunks of celery so you can find it when this is done cooking.  If you cut celery into small chunks it just sorta disappears as it's "stewing".  This is a good recipe to follow, especially if you're a newbie to cooking (which I certainly am not!).

My grands like this served over noodles OR the suggested biscuits.  I still use Jiffy Biscuit mix, believe it or not.  A great biscuit is hard to make unless you like them to be as hard as a hockey puck!  I add an extra egg yolk and some extra butter to the mix and then I butter the top of the biscuit right before I add the stew!  YUM !!!!!  Making my stomach growl....
