Should we or shouldn't we?

I actually HATE daylight savings time.  I found this in my Amish365 enewsletter today.  I agree, mostly, with the writer.  (there is no link to this. It's actually a site I go to for recipes (in this case, Amish recipes).

"I really enjoy the later light once we spring forward this weekend.

But what I won’t enjoy is losing the hour of sleep to get there. I need every hour I can get and I’m not pleased about losing one.

***MINE: Apparently dumbass biden's "administration" is going to keep DST.  lovely.  I actually like the changes, to be honest.

The American Academy of Sleep Medicine recently published some startling findings:

'fatal traffic accident risks acutely increased by 6% in the U.S. following the spring daylight saving transition. The study said the risk is highest in the morning after the time switch and is most acute in the farthest west areas of a time zone. It takes 5 to 7 days for the stats to return to pre-time change levels.'

P
ut me in the category of people who wish we’d just pick a time and stick with it year-round."
