What is nutloaf and how do I make it?

Nutloaf is "meatloaf" without the meat, using nuts likes pecans and walnuts instead.  A lot of Seventh Day Adventist people, and others who do not normally eat meat (you should never live like that because your body NEEDS meat for protein, certain vitamins not available anywhere else).  But I used to date a 7th dayer and have had his mother's nutloaf and it is really delicious.

I made this just recently and left out the mushrooms because I didn't have any on hand and it was still delicious.

*** Alsom as a side note, I made some beef stew yesterday, and added a couple of things not included in the recipe (like Thyme and Worchestershire sauce) and it is simply amazingly delicious!  I love a good, thick, beef stew).  I make mine using a flour roux to give it thickness and body.  Delicious!  Add some butter just before eating, in each individual bowl.
