Cranberry/cream cheese sweet pastry!

This sounds easy and delicious.  My Mom always added either orange juice or orange peels (finely shredded) to anything with cranberry in it.  The flavor just bursts with "freshness" when the orange is added in.  Citrus does beautiful things for cranberries - or ANY berries for that matter.  Chokecherry jelly should always have lemon or orange added to it, for example.

My Mom also used honey in place of sugar sometimes, but it takes a LOT of honey to compensate!  And honey DOES have a sugar content so diabetic people still have to be careful using this as a sweetner.
