Not election speeches, look around you
Ol' joe always fails to mention his many fall-downs and scraped knees. He only wants to brag about stuff he didn't really do, and the stuff he REALLY DID remains in a closed basket somewhere. He doesn't want us to dwell on his failures, so he turns you in another direction. Sorry pal, we're onto you. No one pays much attention to what he says anymore, but it's HOW he says it. He's always screaming and looking angry, he doesn't possess an ounce of a sense of humor, he's propped in front of the microphone by his wife and looks like a mannequin. Same color as one, too. 
And lifeless like one.
