It's broken because of pure stupidity on the part of parents, teachers, and administrators who totally believe that not allowing guns would have prevented this tragedy.  Uh, this school was a gun-free zone already, guess they forgot to tell the shooter.  Yep, take the guns away from the teachers and only the people who plan to do harm will have a gun - others are then left unable to protect themselves.  I guess that stupid idea makes sense to far too many people. They just aren't getting it.
