He was one of my favorites.  They barely touched on some of his movies, but the man was a giant because getting into the movies as a black man in the early 1960's was not an easy thing to do.  I was just thinking about him the other day, wondering if he was still around.  I'd heard nothing about him for at least 2 years or more.

The article doesn't say how he died but the man was 94 - - I sure hope they aren't going to try to label him as a covid death.  I hope his family is astute enough NOT to let that happen.
