Actually, this is a serious question on my part, but it is also an EXTREME pet peeve of mine, especially recently.

At these conventions and get-togethers (like we recently had 3 days of CPAC, for instance), why do they usually put people like Sandra Smith and her anchor-friend (John someone) AND last year they used Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum (of ALL people) to be the spokespeople for election night???  These people are CLEARLY not Trump supporters and may not even be republicans????  That has always been a thorn in my side.  Can someone explain to me why our "news editors" do crap like that??!
