Homemade Pot Pies

This link is for the chicken pot pie, but you could (and we often do) substitute the chicken broth with beef broth (I have that in jars homemade, too, but storebought is fine) and add some chunks of leftover chunks of beef from a tender roast.

*** Keep in mind that the broth you buy in the grocery stores in a box is not the same thing (not nearly as flavorful) as the canned stuff, although that's why I make my own because I can barely make myself buy soups in a can.  The Campbell's Beef Consomme has quite a bit of flavor if you can get past the rest of the ingredients listed on the can!
