Whatever happened to the tv ads for Endust, or Campbell's soup (with the Campbell kids), or Camay soap?  Why do we only ever get bombarded with ads for medicare medicare medicare and free this and free that through medicare?  It's all we ever hear and yet everyone keeps saying that medicare is broke (as in no money) and will not be around in less than 3 years.  It doesn't even make sense.

But I dare you to turn on your tv to a channel that advertises constantly (like TV Land or any of the "news" channels).  These news people try to squeeze in 50 guests per show and yet none of those "guests" have time to even make their point for being on the show because the host talks through most of the guest time and then they cut to a commercial.

Why do we even bother to have "programs"???  There should just be about 400 channels of nothing but advertising because that's pretty damned close to what we have now.

I watch DVD's and that way I avoid the crap that's out there.
