Ham salad sandwich filling

My mom used to make this a lot when I was growing up only she did not add sweet pickles - - none of us liked those things - - so she used dill pickles (chopped, of course) but the rest of the recipe sounds about right.  We just put it on slices of fresh bread and made sandwiches, we did not get fancy with it and make "salads" or anything like that.  It was good with a few potato chips (which we rarely had except in the summer).

Re: Ham salad sandwich filling

Another one my Mom used to make often, as well as both of my gramma's.  All kids loved it!

Again, however, no sweet relish, just chopped dill pickles.
