Elderberry contains Quercetin

Well, as usual, I had a whole post all typed up and then the "server" for this forum couldn't post it, but it WAS able to erase it.  Imagine that.

Elderberries contain quercetin which helps with a runny nose.  I found that information in the footnote of an article I read, of all things. A FOOTNOTE!!  I was searching elderberry but evidently not in the right places.  It's my understanding that many foods contain quercetin, but not in sufficient quantities.  But evidently elderberries do.

To make a long story short, drink elderberry tea, hot or cold.  Supplement with quercetin tabs or capsules, 100 mg in the a.m. along with 50 mg of zinc, then another quercetin alone (no zinc) in the evening.  It worked for my runny nose in about 4 days.
