Also this would be good with a rhubard sauce or a blueberry sauce, as well as the roasted strawberries.

This actually seems more like a pie than a cake, but I haven't made it yet so I'm not sure. It sounds like a nice dessert, though. Maybe something for 4th of July. I would bake it outdoors in my roaster oven and not heat up the house.
