Now is the time to ask yourselves (if you have a young family, that is). If you're a grandparent like me, you need to be asking YOUR kids if they're teaching THEIR kids anything other than how to turn on some new device and make it function. Some of the new gadgets are just plain scary. I think we were much better off before all the techno crap too many now depend on for basic skills. It's sad. My parents and grandparents would laugh at how children today are raised. I grew up hauling bales and turning silage piles and helping to brand cattle. Lived on a RANCH, not a farm. Do you think kids today even know the difference between a ranch and farm? Many adults don't even know. Good grief, it seems with all the "advancements" people THINK we're making, we're certainly going backwards awfully quickly.
