We love raspberries, black raspberries, and all kinds of berries in this house!  I try to make a few "summer pies" using fresh, local fruits, if possible.  This year has been almost too wet to grow much stuff, so I had to buy black raspberries.  YIKES!  Have you seen the price of these things???  I buy organic and paid over $7 per quart.  Expensive pie, but the look on my husband's face was well worth the money!

Delicious!  I had to buy sugar and it's not cheap either these days.  Nothing is.
