Should you be a vegetarian? Is it healthy in the long run??

I agree with the very first sentence in this article. 

After all, can't the "veggie" people be a little more imaginative?  Why not call their product a veggie patti or a veggie slab?  After all, burgers are more or less synonymous with beef, aren't they?  I grew up on a hereford beef cattle ranch and I wouldn't try to sustain a life on pure veggies for all the goats in India.  We know people right here where I live who were vegetarians for most of their lives and are now ill beyond belief.  As they age, their bodies just don't have what it takes to sustain them in their hour of need.  But they DID learn that the hard way. 

As a side note I will also tell you that most of the veggie friends we know are also very plump.  Don't know what causes that but there you go.
