I used to try to do this, but lately it seems as though we have to put seeds in the ground whenever we get the chance.  Too much going on, or else it's raining too much and then when we finally get a few dry days in a row I throw seeds here and there to get things going.  I don't have time to wait for the moon!  My Dad and grampa always planted their haygrass crops (which is all they planted) by the moon.  Always.
