What SHOULDN'T I store in the fridge?

Don't know if I agree entirely with this list, but I'll post it anyway.

Sometimes I buy big big bags of multi-colored peppers or onions because I have a dicer attachment for my Kitchen Aid mixer.  But I don't always get around to doing the dicing right away, so those things would have to be out on the kitchen counter for some time and I'm not comfortable with that for more than 3 or maybe 4 days.  Then they go into the fridge until I can get around to doing something with them.  I also do not leave avocados out once they're cut in half - they go brown really fast, even if I leave the stone in the half that would be sitting out.  It may not hurt the nutritional value or the flavor but it looks awful and makes me not want to eat it!  But that's just me.

I have never refridgerated potatoes, tomatoes or coffee beans.  I also don't put my pure peanut butter (which I buy at the local food co-op and it's nothing but ground raw peanuts) into the fridge and I've never had a problem with it.
