Sure could.  This article was written back in 2012 but it sums things up pretty well.  We've made no progress in the past 6 years to protect the people of America.  Instead, we just keep letting people penetrate our borders.  Most of those people will be a part of this type of violence in the streets of America, should it happen - - and I'm afraid it will.
