Oh those statins . . .

LDL cholesterol has not one single thing to do with how long you live or how long I live or how long Joe Blow down the street will live.

Not. One. Thing.

But the CDC has a hold of it like a dog with bone (a big-dollar bone, to boot) and they are NOT going to let this go.  I know tons and tons of people who are prescribed statins every year by their doctors, but these people go home and throw the prescription away or they get it filled and throw the pills away.

So here's an interview with the difference perspectives, and the interviewer is Sharyl Attkisson.  I wish I could get her show here where I live, but alas, I cannot.  Ah well, thank goodness she has a web site of her own and other sites who share her interests and print her stories!
