Who doesn't want dinner on the table in about 20 minutes? This sounds like something right up my alley! I love this sort of thing, and would maybe add some chunks of cauliflower, broccoli, slices of red onion, chopped.
My Mom made something very similar with our homemade summer sausage (not the same thing by far as keilbasa), and we ate the potatoes and cabbage baked in the oven in the winter and stovetop in the summer, and ate a cold summer sausage sandwich. In the winter we added carrots to the potatoes and cabbage in the oven baked version. You can also make this with steak bites either stovetop or oven. I don't use the carrots in the stovetop version because they never get done and I hate half-done carrots. YUK. I always had iced tea at lunchtime with this meal and coffee (strong!) at suppertime with this meal. Just whatever you prefer wnenever you prefer it!

Just an afterthought here:
I love Cloverdate Summer Sausage sandwiches made with a couple of slices of summer sausage, slap it between 2 pieces of your choice of bread, some mayo and mustard. That's it! Again, a nice glass of cool iced tea (brewed hot first and cooled down in the fridge). I love the new Wild Strawberry iced tea I got from Adiago Teas. Give it a try. They have lots of interesting flavors of iced tea but you must remember to brew it hot first and steep it.
