Who doesn't love this stuff?
Some of my grands prefer Green Bean Casserole because they love to eat the fried onion rings off the top!
I don't like using canned soups so anywhere I can make changes and use the recipe I posted here when I first started this forum, for My Homemade Cream of ANYTHING Soup. You just have to make sure you have mushrooms or chicken broth (Wyler's Chicken Broth Cubes) on hand.
I had the Pepperidge Farm Just Plain Bread Breadcrumbs so I added my own spices for flavoring. I used granulated garlic, Chives, dried parsley, Morton Sea Salt with Iodine, and course black pepper. I always make things ahead of time and refrigerate them because no one wants to be dinking around at the last minute, especially when the whole meal has to be transported to another location.
I also always make a big batch of Butter cupcakes and use the sugar and spice topping (which is sugar, cinnamon and a bit of nutmeg). Go easy on the nutmeg or it will overwhelm the taste of the delicious cupcakes that actually take the place of rolls or biscuits. My Mother actually always added some black pepper to her topping for these and they never stayed around long so I guess no one minded!!

This is the same recipe as the one my niece gave me a few years ago. It's a great side dish.
