It's still winter!!!!!
I'm not interested in what the weather is doing in India or anywhere else. I can tell you for a fact that here in SD we are still getting lots of sleet, little hailstones, rain and very overcast skies. So far no tornadoes! But that phenomenon will be next, take my word for it. We get LOTS of those when the weather warms up. Sometimes you can't even see them coming. NOT AT ALL.
But this article from Dr. Sircus is interesting in that the USA is not the only place where winter is hanging on a lot longer than usual. I love winter but this is getting ridiculous!

I actually think this is just a strange year, I don't think this is any new "weather pattern" or anything like that. It's just nature acting up because IT CAN.

It is now the first week in May and we've had snow twice already. Once was a pretty good amount, once was just a dusting but nevertheless, it makes driving hazardous to say the least. I love winter usually but I'm about worn out of this one!
I called to wish my BIL (Joel) a happy birthday on May 2nd and they were contemplating NOT starting out from their hometown to head to Sioux Falls for their oldest grandson's HS graduation because of the icy weather. I told them to call me when they got to Sioux Falls and I haven't heard back so they maybe didn't go? I hope?? I mean I hope thats the reason I haven't heard back ya know what I mean?
