People are just plain ignorant

Yesterday I was out looking at apartments (I need to get moved out of this "money pit" house - soon) and the 2 ladies I was visiting with, even though they were Trump fans, told me they don't think things would be able to be turned around for our country within 4 years even if Trump were elected.  They both said "that's just not enough time".  I said well he did a LOT in the 3 years he was "allowed" to serve in his first term because they stole the last year of his term with that stupid covid hoax.  No wars, lower prices on food and gas, but they put blockades up in front of all his other plans.  Those ladies got big eyes and acted as if they were shocked and said "Gee, I  never thought about it that way".  I said to them, straight out, you must be buying into all the dimwit democrap nonsense they're spewing right now then.

I encouraged them to do some homework on the background of the past 5 years AND not to use googly to do it.  I encouraged them to download duck duck go on all their devices and they both said they'd never heard of it.  I showed them on the computer at the office, exactly how to do it and how it would cost them nothing.  They were shocked at what they had been missing because of the skewed, left-leaning ads they had been seeing on their devices through googly.  It's shameful that people are so stupid, or too busy to look into other ways to find their information.  I don't know if they're ignorant on purpose or because they don't want to know the truth.
