I really wish the gubmint would keep its nose out of things. We NEED the owls in my part of the country, to keep the woodpeckers at bay. I had to replace the siding on part of my house in order to stop the woodpeckers from making BIG holes in my cedar siding. I have a huge pine tree on that end of the house, as well, and when the owls are sitting in that tree, it really does keep the woodpeckers away. Imagine that.
Nature knows what to do if the damned politicians would just stay out of things. Nature ALWAYS CORRECTS ITSELF, always has, always will. All of these cell towers are driving birds and fish crazy. We've seen it on all our coastlines, too, with whales (mammals). Several friends of my daughter (who has a 2nd home in Cabo San Lucas, one of the benefits on NOT having any kids!!) have noticed LOTS of sharks and whales coming onshore, one way or another (dead or alive) since cell phones have come into vogue. It's a shame and far too many people are absolutely hooked to DEATH on those phones. My daughter in law is one of them.
We need owls to balance the ecosystem they all talk about but do not understand. Raise your hand if you agree!
