This is good reading and I think everyone should know what it is they're arguing about, whether you're in favor of it or not in favor.  If you don't know about your subject, it's pretty hard to be objective.

Personally, I NEVER thought I'd ever be in favor of this stuff.  A lot of my friends in high school back in the late 1960's and early 1970's smoked it but I never had the interest or inclination, for some reason.  I preferred beer!  But we've (my husband and I) have seen it work in multiple areas of health and are now firm believers in the medicinal value of this herb.  There are multiple ways to use it medicinally, you don't have to smoke it.  Too many people only have an opinion without actually doing the research or bothering to speak with someone who's actually used it for a medicinal reason.  It's wrong to do that, especially since we know how damaging Rx drugs can be.
