    The statue of liberty was meant for people who came to this country LEGALLY.  They passed through NYC gates at Ellis Island with paperwork and did things LEGALLY.  Those people didn't rush the border (shoreline), carrying weapons & drugs, and making threats.  THERE'S your difference.  Obviously no one understands the meaning of the word LEGAL.  It's now being used in various ways as a cudgel.

    AND - - doesn't ANYONE get the difference between illegal immigrants and illegal migrants?  If you don't understand something THAT basic, then you better start doing your homework.

    The toad who wrote that article should be brought up on some kind of charges.  But then again so should ol' joe and hunter and neither of them will EVER HAVE TO FACE THE MUSIC.
