It's kinda too bad he wasn't in more pain.  I'm sure the dental team was afraid to use anything but a local on him because they were prolly afraid he'd never wake up, and what a BOON that would have been for America.  They could have done us all SUCH A HUGE FAVOR.  Damn, they blew it !!
