I use brown rice but the recipe gives you other options.
I'm not sure about the jalapeno peppers but the rest sounds really good. The soy sauce sounds like a great addition, or even try Worchestershire sauce. Also, I might just mix the whole thing together rather than putting the sauce on top of the rice - - but it's whatever you want.

Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeno, diced
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- rice
Instructions:

In a large pan, melt butter.Add onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and jalapeno and cook for 5 minutes. Add ground beef.Cook until ground beef is fully cooked and vegetables are tender.Drain and return to pan.Add soy sauce and seasonings. Mix until well combined.Serve with cooked rice**** I buy the bags of frozen, already mixed and cut chunks of red and green peppers with onions. Usually I buy them at the organic store but sometimes in the regular grocery store.
