Ya know the real trouble with this "hate speech" stuff?

The real trouble is that far too many people, mostly young people (millenials & younger) won't even read an article like the one below because they think they know all about the situation and they simply don't care if someone is spying on them and they think socialism is so wonderful that "getting rid of hate speech is just a great thing".  They do not dig deep enough to understand (in a 20 second byte type thing) the real consequences of their actions or non-actions in this matter.

A good clout on the head might wake some of them up to the facts, but not nearly enough of them will get that awakening.  I tried to get my son and his wife to read 1984 by Orwell, along with Animal Farm (I have the book which contains both stories in one volumn) but they declined the offer.  I know my son has heard me talk about this book and I thought he would be interested in reading it now that he's getting a bit older (he'll be 31 this fall).  My daughter, who will be 43 this fall, tried to get him to understand that he really oughta read it, but even she had no luck trying to persuade him.  Heck, neither of us could get him to read this article so we knew what we were up against asking him to read a whole entire book with real paper pages!!

Nevertheless, even if you're a know-it-all, you really should read this:
