You KNOW they're going to do it but they NEED this drama every time we get to this point.  When have they not ever extended the debt ceiling?  They've ALWAYS extended the debt ceiling without a thought to consequences  and that's why we're all in a helluva lotta financial trouble.  We will remain in trouble as long as these morons keep raising the ceiling and never actually fixing the problems causing it in the first place.

We need to find another way to "solve" this problem.  Scaring people into thinking the economy will shut down isn't going to work much longer because people are beyond caring anymore.  Let them shut it down and see where it goes.  NO ONE IS WORKING RIGHT NOW so the bigwigs don't have all that revenue coming in and they're scared absolutely shitless.
