Sam Elliott tells D-Day survivor story

This is only about 7 minutes long, but well worth seeing.

Not enough people today care about what happened "back then" so now they're out there creating their own version of hell for the rest of us.  They may be a lot of things, but smart isn't one of them - - but then, our school systems have cheated them out of knowing their historical roots.  It's just a shame the current administration (biden/assholeharris) are almost mandating that kids don't learn about the past, if you can believe that.  A couple of idiots like them probably don't know a thing about history, either.

What was once called D-Day has now become Memorial Day and is observed on the last Monday of May each year.  Read more here:  https://www.britannica.com/topic/Memorial-Day
