Country Life; City Life: THIS IS FASCINATING READING

I love to read stuff like this.  I'm kind of a history buff anyway, but I've always been interested in the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl Years.

My parents were married in 1938, had twin boys in 1941, a girl in 1943, another girl in 1945, and then ME in 1953 (I think I was a boo-boo but they never ever said that).  All of my siblings and my 4 grandparents lived through this mess and I feel strengthened by that thought.  NONE of them stood in breadlines, ever.  Luckily one set were rancher/farmers and the others, although city-dwellers, always had work (hard work, too boot).

Nevertheless, I hope you find this as fascinating as I did.
