Trump has way more support than what shows on the outside (so to speak).  People are not indicating who they're going to vote for, so those "poll numbers" are nothing but a joke.  The democraps know this (we've got Obozo scared out of his lil' pea-pickin' mind!!!).   There is just no way people are going to vote for demented Joe Biden and people also KNOW the disaster of any of his line-up of VP candidates he could choose.  None of them are worth a pinch of salt.  Believe me, Biden might be addled but he ain't completely stupid - he knows those "candidates" are nowheresville for him.
