Why are they?

Question for someone:  why are voter registration records available to the public?  Shouldn't that be a private issue between the voter and his county, city, state?????  NO ONE should have access to those records at all, in fact why do we even have to be registered to vote?  Why can't we just walk into the polls on election day and just vote?

I've always wondered about that, but never really had the need (before this point in time) to ask the question.

I'd really like to know the answer to that.  People are not afraid to come to this site and steal articles I've posted and put them elsewhere online, but they'll never register here and actually participate in a conversation.  No wonder we now have what's referred to as a cancel culture = = because most people are chickenshits.

Not me, man.  I've been through a lot in my life and I'm not scared of much, certainly not some little liberal basement-dwelling dweeb with a big mouth and no brain.
