You hafta say one thing for them - they're persistent.  They're dead wrong, but they're persistent!!

Most of us, however, are just calling it what it REALLY is ---- it's wasting time to make President Trump look bad (like he's been sitting in the WH doing nothing).  Who in their right mind believes that?

And, just so you know, quid pro quo is NOT just "something for something" as the author implies.  It is something given or received for something else, according to Merriam-Webster dictionary.  That shines a bit of a different light on the meaning if you ask me.
