If you get the chickenpox vaxxes for your kids WHEN THEY'RE CHILDREN, they are about 90% more likely to have "shi ngles" pop up as they get older. A weakened immune system doesn't help. I never had the chickenpox vaxx, I actually HAD THE CHICKENPOX and so did my 2 oldest children but the youngest one was required to have that shot before he could start school (no one knew about homeschooling back then). Now it turns out that being forced to give our kids that stupid chickenpox shot isn't such a hot idea. My youngest son (who is now 38) just got over a bout with shingles, his MIL is a nurse who pretended not to know the answers to his questions. When my youngest was born we had him immunized by the County Nurse in our area at that time and she insisted that he get the chickenpox shot, I would rather have had him just get the pox themselves and then be immune from it forever, and all it's tentacles as well.
People just will not listen. If you haven't had a chickenpox shot, DON'T GET ONE and for sure don't get them for your children. But no one listens to me. When I was a kid we had shots for measles and mumps (both of which I had anyway) and we were tested for TB (blood drawn from each arm, 1 circled in red and 1 circled in blue and the school nurses checked us in 3 days. If there was swelling or any weird bumps where the shots were placed, they had to perform the test again and after that you went to a doctor (which were few and far between back in the 1950's). Too bad it still isn't that way, we would have a much healthier population. Vaxx's tend to destroy our immune systems, as do diseases which cannot be stopped (like Sjogren's Syndrome, which I have) and a few others. There are a host of diseases which come from not having a good, working immune system.
Don't compromise your's or your children's bodies by listening to some whacked out doctor.
