They often had really good recipes or something I could work with to get what I wanted in the end, but lately they've adopted the dimwit dem political stance, and that does not belong at a recipe site.  We all get enough of that bias everywhere else we go and I don't wanna hear about it while trying to concentrate on food ideas.

You might wanna consider looking for other sites, too, if you've been a follower of The Spruce Eats.  What a shame.
