I didn't mean to include the decorating tips part, it just came with the url, sorry.  But there are ideas galore here for frosting for cakes and cupcakes.  To me, baking cupcakes is a total waste of time.  Why not just throw the batter into a 9 x 12 pan, bake it all at once and call it a day??  That's always been the easiest and least messy way, if you ask me.
