I started out looking up information about Carrie Ingalls (she was married to someone who was somehow a part of my family from way back when (in Wisconsin where my family came from), although the name isn't familiar to me right off - but then again I've had a stroke so that might account for the lapse in memory).  But this is a whole page of interesting and scary historical stuff about Presidents and the White house *haunted?* etc.  Just buzz through it and you'll likely find something you'd like to read.

Here's another link with more stuff.  I do recognize the names Colby and Quiner.  I remember my paternal grandparents speaking those names often, so there was a connection somewhere, somehow, but I can't seem to put it all together.  But I'll keep hunting until I connect the dots, don't you worry.  I'm like a dog with a bone when I wanna find out family info!!
