what does the term Potemkin village mean to you?

This is the explanation I found which best describes the term.

"The expression 'Potemkin villages' means anything made for the sole purpose of concealing the truth".

This is exactly what the biden administration did when it cleaned up the mess in el paso before biden made his first and so far only trip to the border.  they cleaned it up and shined it up to conceal the truth but then biden knew that.  if he didn't know it, he shouldn't be running a country the size of the USA.  He might qualify for a country the size that crimea was, but even that is doubtful.
