If you don't convert to gold and silver right now, you never will.  Everyone has the pants scared off of them when it comes to physically putting your money into a bank because it seems to be disappearing.  Paper money, so they say, is not useful anymore - - so that leaves gold and silver.  I'm sure glad I've done a bit of investing in the past few years.  Junk silver is also worth a good bit right now and easier to use.
