When my husband passed away shortly after I was notified of it a lady called from the hospital to see if I objected to them removing his corneas to help some blind person. I said heaven's no I don't mind, after all on his driver's license (as on mine) we are listed as donors.
It's just nice to know he was able to help someone, probably a child, to have their vision restored.
