Raise your hand if you think child labor has ended in America. Boy, are you dreaming. All of the cartels full of illegals rushing across the border USE CHILDREN in many ways. Sexually, as drug mules, as maids and barn cleaners, for instance. It's horrifying now, just as it was way back when.
The history of it all isn't very pretty, nor is the present.

Some articles refer to it as child slavery, without making the distinction that it's not ALL about blacks. When are the black people going to learn that not everything bad which happened early on in this country was about blacks, there were many mistreated whites, as well, and other nationalities, too. But the blacks want to USE this issue for their own benefit even if it's not the truth. How apropo for right now.
JUST READ IT. For God's sake it took America 80 years to settle this dispute. It couldn't have been that important to them, sadly. Now we have youngsters who can't even decide if they're boys or girls (what a f*cking mess), killing their classmates and their friends and their parents. It's disgusting but that's on ol' dumbutt joe "the chief fleecer".
