Kristi West, the director of the University of Hawaii’s "Health and Stranding Lab".  REALLY???  WOW they must be running out of ways to waste money when they create positions with titles like this one!!!!!!  Good heavens.

And WHAT was the "big discovery"????  It was junk that's been polluting the oceans for decades and every administration since Eisenhower has known this is happening.  Nothing done about it so now we have this "discovery". People will throw ANYTHING into the water because they know no one can see it until it's dredged up - sorta like a body hunt when people go missing.  It's too bad a few illegals don't go missing off the Yonkers or Brooklyn Bridges on their way down from Canada.
