This is one of the small towns where my parents used to be "snow birds".  They loved it there back in the late 80's and early 1990's.  I was curious to see what it was like now because we also traveled through there many times on our trips to and from CA when I went to Jr. High out there back in the mid to late 60's.  I went to a school within the LA school district and it was glorious back then - had soooo much fun and met sooooooooooo many people.  Wish I could find some of them now, but I avoid social media so the chances of finding any of them are somewhere between slim and none.  But this was a sweet little town.
