The kind that WON'T do damage to your home.  Woodpeckers, on the other hand, can and will do a lot of damage, and so will those huge things that look like a blackbird but on steroids.  They are crazy big. 

Also, the tip at the top right-hand corner is something most people don't think about until they are forced to think about it and then it's a bit late.  Do you know how to open your electric garage door when the power is out??

Ours both have pull strings on them to activate them, which uses the batteries for the automatic lights that come on.  But we have a walk-in back door to our garage, and you need one of those in order to get into the garage in the first place, and we also have access to our garage through our lower level/basement door.
