Is giving someone assistance a crime?

Holy socks.

I guess it's a crime in Canada.  But it's ONLY a crime because the Canadian officials have nothing else to work with, as far as charging these truckers with anything that will stick to current law - - no murders, no stealing, no property damage, et al.

So now the gubmint of Canada is going after the people who are giving "assistance" to these truckers (food, water, toilet paper, etc).

This madness has taken a turn into full blown lunacy.   You see, when gubmints have nothing in their little black bag of tricks, THEY resort to thuggery like bullying the peaceful protestors.  It's all they've got.  The only ones doing anything wrong are the Canadian PM and his minions.
