Where Pence comes off sounding "logical" but in reality he's nothing but a big chickenass.  He really didn't like DJT so he did all kinds of stuff in order to NOT support Trump's White House.  Pence, in my honest opinion, is a creep and a backstabber.  He  needs to make up his mind if he's a dimwit dem or a republican who's true to his party, because at this point he's really neither.  But then again, what else can be expected from such a zero?
