PolyphRMAcy dangers

Holy socks, Batman!

https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2021/12/10/polypharmacy.aspx

I take 4 pills daily (2 I've been taking for 30+ years, 1 for only 2 years, 1 for 2 1/2 years); the last 2 were "necessary" after the stroke in 2019.  It was such a mild stroke I didn't even know I'd had it or they probably would have loaded me up with more Rx stuff.  The doctor I had while in the hospital after the stroke would not dismiss me until I consented to take some STATIN drug, which I refused to do.  After 2 days of rangling with him, I took the damned pill, got home and threw the bottle in the trash.

There's a lot of things I'll take, but a statin drug is not one of them.  Mostly I now take vitamins, and not too many of those.  Most of them upset my stomach unless I space them at least 1/2 hour apart, ditto for Rx drugs.  So I'm all day tied up with taking crap.  It gets very annoying and disrupting. Think I'll take more of those drug bottles and throw them in the trash.
